The mysterious violin maker

Hi everyone! I've been trying to dig up some history on the man who made my violin. The best I can make out his name is 'Joseph Krotshmann'. The label says that the violin was made in 1840 and then there is some german text under his name. I haven't been able to figure that out yet.

In other news, Katie and I paid a visit to Bill from Perry Sound in the Transport Canada hangar last Sunday! I was like a kid in a candy store!! I'm still sorting through the pictures. We also went for our first flight of 2005 and had a great time! The ride was smooth but unfortuantely the visibility was quite low (4sm at best). Have a super day!
